All the injectors I've looked at had fairly good rubber seals inside them. However the resin that encases the solenoid does seem a little 'worse for wear.' That being said I see no obvious signs that the solenoidal windings have been compromised. I still maintain at this point that fuel from inside the injector is more likely the cause of any corrosion rather than fuel from outside.
